Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Veraxiss ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our products — InboxAI and Decido — and this website (veraxiss.me).

1. Information We Collect

InboxAI

  • Email content: When you forward a school email to your InboxAI address, the email body and subject are processed by AI to extract tasks and deadlines. Raw email content is not stored long-term after extraction is complete.
  • Account information: When you register, we collect your name and email address.
  • Telegram identifiers: If you link Telegram, we store your Telegram user ID to deliver notifications.
  • Usage data: We collect basic usage logs (e.g. number of tasks created) to improve the service.

Decido

  • Session data: Room codes and swipe votes are stored temporarily for the duration of a session. This data is not linked to any personal identity.
  • No account data: Decido requires no sign-up. We do not collect names, email addresses, or persistent identifiers from Decido users.

This Website

  • Early access emails: If you submit your email on the Decido page, we store it to notify you at launch.
  • Server logs: Standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) are retained for up to 30 days for security monitoring.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To operate and improve InboxAI and Decido
  • To send you Telegram notifications you have opted into
  • To contact you about early access if you submitted your email
  • To monitor for abuse and ensure security

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

3. Data Sharing

We share data only with the service providers required to operate our products:

  • NVIDIA API / Kimi K2: Email content is sent to the NVIDIA API for AI-powered task extraction. NVIDIA's data handling is governed by their privacy policy.
  • Groq: Telegram chat messages are processed by Groq's API. Groq's data handling is governed by their privacy policy.
  • Telegram: Notifications are delivered via the Telegram Bot API.
  • Cloudflare: All traffic passes through Cloudflare for CDN and DDoS protection.

4. Data Retention

  • Extracted task data in InboxAI is retained until you delete it or close your account.
  • Raw email bodies are not stored after task extraction.
  • Decido session data is ephemeral and deleted after the session ends.
  • Early access email addresses are retained until the product launches or you unsubscribe.

5. Your Rights

In accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA) of India, you have the following rights as a Data Principal:

  • Right to access: Request a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is being processed.
  • Right to correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
  • Right to erasure: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to any legal obligations we may have to retain it.
  • Right to grievance redressal: Lodge a complaint with our Grievance Officer if you believe your data has been mishandled.
  • Right to nominate: Nominate another individual to exercise your rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity.

If you use InboxAI, you can delete your account and all associated data from within the app. For all other requests, contact our Grievance Officer below.

6. Security

All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Database records are encrypted at rest. We follow industry-standard security practices and promptly address any vulnerabilities.

7. Children's Privacy

InboxAI is designed for use by parents and guardians, not directly by children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our products after changes constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
